Thor: Ragnarok thumps out the North American film industry
From the very first look at Marvel’s latest outing it ended up noticeably clear that there was something extraordinary about ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. More energetic than its two prequels, and joined with a particular comical inclination, it reunites us with two overwhelming superheroes – Thor and the Hulk, both of whom we haven’t seen since ‘Justice fighters: Age of Ultron’ in 2015.
The film Thor: Ragnarok, which allowed Australian actor Chris Hemsworth to find his superhero at the famous hammer, knocked out the North American box office for his first weekend of operation, according to provisional figures of the specialized company Exhibitor Relations.
Critics had praised the self-deprecating humor of this new album in a genre that is used to take himself more seriously. He has had a good crop with $ 121 million since Friday.
The Nordic god of lightning and thunder is followed, far behind, by the new adventures of atypical mothers of Bad Moms 2 who are this time confronted with the preparations for Christmas. The film, along with Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn, garnered $ 17 million for its first weekend in theaters.
Jigsaw, eighth installment of the scary saga Saw, is third with $ 6.7 million on the weekend, and $ 28.8 million since its box-office debut last week.
The fourth position is again a continuation: Boo 2 by Tyler Perry, who is also the lead actor, screenwriter and producer of the film. Its revenues reached $ 4.6 million between Friday and Sunday, and $ 42.9 million in three weeks.
The sci-fi thriller Geostorm, with Gerard Butler, ranks fifth with $ 3 million in three days and $ 28.8 million in three weeks. Here you can watch more films by movie counter online without any time limit and cost.
